Debate Democracy

Versión en Español | Version Française

You can play your part in creating a democratic vision of a safer world.

You don't have to come to Madrid to be involved, and you don't need to be a head of state, policy expert or politician to join in.

The Debate

The debate is organised around five broad themes, reflecting the working groups which are already in place discussing the issues. Follow one of these links to go straight to the relevant area, or look at the debate home page to see all the topics under consideration.

Anyone can read messages, but you have to login or register in order to post.

A note for openDemocracy.net members: Your openDemocracy login and password will work on the debate site, which is being run by openDemocracy.net on behalf of the Summit organisers. It even uses the same Jive software that you are already familiar with, but the debates are separate from the openDemocracy ones.

What's this Debate? openDemocracy, in partnership with the Summit organisers, is working to open and extend the discussion about the Madrid Principles. Sign up for regular news about the Summit, the Madrid Principles and our exciting plans for thousands of meetings around the world on March 11.
