Malley, Robert

Director, International Crisis Group, Middle East Program

Prior to current position, was senior fellow at US Council on Foreign Relations, special assistant to President Clinton for Arab-Israeli affairs and director for Near East and South Asian affairs at the National Security Council (1999-2001). Helped coordinate US refugee policy and efforts to promote democracy and human rights abroad. Executive assistant to the National Security Advisor (1997-1998).
