Kellenberger, Jakob

President, International Committee of the Red Cross

President of the ICRC since 2000. Was State secretary of Switzerland for Foreign Affairs and political director, acting as coordinator and chief negotiator for the bilateral agreements between Switzerland and the European Union (1994-1998). Headed the Integration Office in Bern (1984-1992).
