A Belfast city councilor and member of the new Northern Ireland Assembly. Following the decision of the main Protestant paramilitary organisations to call a ceasefire in 1994, became a highly-influential figure in Loyalist politics. Encourages the community to separate politics from religion and to support a modern form of non-sectarian unionism.
