Minister of Negotiation Affairs, Palestine Authority

Head of the Palestinian Negotiations Department. Minister of the local government, the Palestinian National Authority, from 1994 to 2003. Head of the Palestinian side of the Steering and Monitoring Committee (1996-Present). Elected to the Palestine Legislative Council (1996). Author of eight books, in addition to research on foreign policy and conflict resolution.
